Mr Alan Richards. February 2008
‘After a hard day on slopes it was great to come back to Chalet Alpenrose. It's warm and cosy, and easy
to relax and unwind in
The floor to ceiling wood panelling
gives it a real Alpine chalet feel; you could almost be in a log cabin!
The kitchen is well equipped, and the living area very spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable too
The location, just outside of Stadl an der Mur, is very picturesque, and also very
peaceful and quiet. The starry sky at night was amazing.
It's
literally 10/15 mins drive to the nearest ski resort of Kreischberg. Turracher Hoehe is slightly further. Both offer a good
mix of pistes for skiers at any level.
Did I mention
the Sauna?! What a luxury that was!!
I would certainly
recommend a stay at Chalet Alpenrose, and am looking forward to my return visit which is already booked for Jan 2009!!'
Miss Susan Butcher. February 2008
‘Wow! This place is amazing! Extremely comfortable, with everything you could think of. I would definitely
stay here again. It's also in a great location - very scenic'
Mrs Chamberlain. July 2008
‘Lovely, clean
and very well equipped. Beds are very comfy. We would love to stay again. Our boys particularly appreciated
the poker game!
Lots to do in the general area - perfect for families. We all loved the swimming lake at Stadl'
Mrs Amanda Bryant. August 2008
‘Very clean and homely - nice touches with PS2 for kids, books and magazines. No faults!
Lovely area with many villages to explore. Particularly enjoyed tobogganing
at Turracher Hoehe. Murtalerhof Fantastic + really friendly - ideal brisk walk back afterwards to burn off the puddings!
Fantastic contact and help from the owners - very organised and professional.
Thanks!'
Mrs Sharon Chant. October 2008
‘We really enjoyed the chalet, it is nice and spacious but at the same time
it is warm and cosy. We enjoyed the sauna and sitting on the decking in the sun.
We loved the area and the little town has everything you need. We enjoyed eating at the Murtalerhof in the
town. The information on the area was fully covered in either a leaflet or the chalet manual.
Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely chalet and our first taste of Austria.
Thanks Mike for a great holiday!'
Miss Zuby Choudhury.

‘Chalet Alpenrose is the perfect accommodation
for both family and group holiday. We enjoyed our first family christmas skiing holiday in 2007. In fact
we enjoyed Chalet Alpenrose so much that our softball team started having skiing holiday there too and our first trip was
in Jan 2009.
The living area is spacious and
comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipt and the dishwasher is a god-send. There's a washing machine and dryer
available for guest (which came in very handy when travelling with 2 teenage girls). The 2 showers come in handy too
in the morning. The outside storage area is brilliant for storing all the skis at the end of day.
The area surrounding the chalet is so picturesque and quiet.
We're looking forward to our 2010 trip'
Mrs Caroline Hogg. July 2009
‘Just to let you know that we had a very good week at Chalet Alpenrose. The chalet is just great - all very
clean and very comfortable beds (something we appreciate the older we get!). We found plenty to do in the area - the
swimming lake at Stadl, cycling along the Mur from St Lorenzen to Murau, up the cable car at Kreischberg and a walk around
the Dinopark. The children really enjoyed the toboggan run at Turracher Hohe and we had a beautiful Three Lakes Walk up there.
The countryside is stunning in the area.
So, thank
you, for providing such as well-equipped, comfortable place to stay!'
Mrs
Rececca Owens. August 2009
‘The chalet was attractive,
roomy and homely. It was extremely well equipped and very comfortable.
The area is lovely. Quieter than some of the bigger Austrian resorts in Summer and all the more charming for
it. We loved just going down to the lake in Stadl.
We
had a really fab week - just wish we'd made it two!
